Laurent Calomne

This month we are delighted to feature Laurent Calomne from Sombreffe, Belgium. A classically trained musician who now plays percussion and clarinet in a variety of bands. Laurent bought a MusicOne CV from our reseller SightRead and it has revolutionised how he displays his music when performing.

Laurent uses the 24 inch touchscreen MusicOne system running Power Music Professional when performing.

He is in a number of bands playing rock, blues, reggae and disco. He also teaches music theory, drums, percussion, clarinet, saxophone and CAM (Computer Aided Music).

Original Kösslbachtaler

It is with great pleasure we introduce to you Hannes Stadler and his Austrian band Original Kösslbachtaler. We just love Austria so we are delighted to feature Johannes Stadler (or to give him his stage name “Hannes”) as our “Musician of the Month”.

The Original Kösslbachtaler is an Austrian band who perform at wedding receptions and tent festivals. Visit their website here Original Kösslbachtaler.

Kösslbachtaler first started using Power Music way back in 2013. Lois (AKA Alois Stadler), bought Power Music and started setting up a multi-screen band setup, first with three screens then eventually using six screens.

Mike Baldwin

This month we return to the UK and feature Mike Baldwin from Milton Keynes. Mike is a Gospel songwriter and performer. He has just released his first album “Go and Tell” on Amazon.

Mike also plays bass in a rock covers pub band called Murphy’s Law – not to be confused with the American hardcore punk band from New York!

Scott Schreiber – Still Rocking!

This month we are crossing the Atlantic to meet Scott Schreiber from Gilbert, Arizona. Scott’s story is inspiring and shows the power of music – how grabbing your instrument and getting out there and gigging keeps the fun in your life!

Scott plays with The Triplicity Band www.thetriplicityband.com. Formed in 2015, The Triplicity Band has already become a recognized name in the East Valley 55+ communities.

Philip Scriven, Concert Organist

We first met Philip at Spring Harvest in Minehead a few years ago when he visited the Cambron stand.  Some time later, his interest in Power Music was re-awakened when he read an article about another famous organist, Kevin Bowyer, who uses Power Music at Glasgow University Chapel and for recitals around the world.

Philip now uses two Power Music systems – a 27 inch touchscreen system in the chapel of Cranleigh School and a 24 inch touchscreen system for performing “on the road”.

Early Adopter Alun – Talented Guitarist and Singer!

Alun McCarthy, one of the first Power Music users, is a talented worship leader, guitarist and singer.

Alun is one of the most enthusiastic and encouraging Power Music users we have. We meet up with him every year at the Mission Worship Conference in Eastbourne in November. He will be inteviewed at the seminar “Going Digital” (presented by our own Gordon Cameron) at this year’s Mission Worship.
